It Happened! Tornado Warning During National Championship Game

Screen capture of KWCH TV (Wichita) tornado warning coverage minutes ago
Last week I asked the question about what would happen if tornadoes occurred during the National Championship Game if Wichita State was involved?

Sadly, Wichita State did not make the the finals.

But, Mother Nature just caused a tornado in the Wichita television market (which extends west and north to the Colorado and Nebraska borders). KWCH TV just covered up a commercial break to bring the tornado warning to its viewers during halftime.
Very strong rotation viewed by the Goodland NWS radar.

Hook echo on the Goodland NWS radar. Red polygon is the tornado warning.
