Hurricane Watch Extended West

Good move, NHC. The hurricane watch has been extended west.

I went to New Orleans' Times-Picayune's web site to look at their usually excellent local hurricane coverage. They, and much of the rest of the local media in the area, do not seem to have fully caught on that the threat has been moving westward. You have to go down to the very bottom to find anything about the nascent hurricane.
