Climate Science Can't Get Three Months Right

Next time you hear a NOAA climate scientist discussing the weather 90 years from now, you might ask them why their 90-day forecasts are so bad.
Above is the NOAA winter 2014-15 forecast calling for warmer than normal conditions in the Northeast.

Below are the actual temperatures for December through February.
While they got the West right, they completely missed the cold and snowy East, which was the real story this winter.

Fortunately, AccuWeather users got a much more accurate forecast.
