With the news of the record tornado in central Oklahoma, I just want to extend thanks to the National Weather Service's local office and Storm Prediction Center in Norman. A "particularly dangerous situation" tornado watch was issued two hours, thirty-three minutes before the monster touched down. Various levels of warnings, including electronic road signs warning of violent weather from 4 to 8pm in the OKC Metro, were out well in advance.
Congratulations on another job well done.
ADDITION: You can see a time-lapse of their excellent and timely warnings here.
