Tornado Watch Ohio, Indiana, Illinois

An out-of-season tornado watch has been issued for the northern Ohio Valley.

Unfortunately, they have the time zone wrong. I believe the watch expires at 8pm EST since we are no longer on Daylight Saving Time. I have emailed SPC for a clarification and will post if the expiration time is other than 8pm EST.

If you are in the watch, pay attention to the weather this afternoon and evening.

Update: 12:04pm, first tornado warning issued south of Chicago. Rapidly developing situation. Will not be live-blogging these storms.

  1. I am in far western Ohio and I will be storm-tracking after work...if the weather can hold til then. Cellphones, camcorder and digital cameras are ready and thanks for the heads-up.
