It is "Customers" Without Power

Was just watching CNN and they reported 650,000 "people" were without power. The graphic had the correct information, 650,000 "customers." A customer = one electric meter. The industry considers each "customer" represents 3-4 people. So, this means that roughly 2 million people are without power.
The above map is from the National Weather Service which showed the peak wind gust. As trees and powerlines loaded with clingy, wet snow, the lines came down. Thus, the massive power failures.

Reminder that carbon monoxide poisoning is a major threat if your auto's exhaust pipe is blocked by snow.
