Tornado Watch: Colorado and Kansas

Please note that, in addition to tornadoes, hail to 3.5-4 inches, and thunderstorm-generated winds of 70 mph are forecast to occur until 1am Mountain / 2am Central Time. Wind-driven hail can cause extensive damage. In addition, power failures are possible. 

Charge your laptop and smartphone until you retire for the night or until you see the first bolt of lightning or hear the first clap of thunder. Unplug them at that time to prevent power-surge damage. 

Make sure you have at least three independent ways of getting storm warnings during the night.
