Brief Storm Summary

Mindy, Cat and I saw several wall clouds and funnel clouds. Unfortunately, it was hazy so the photographs did not come out as well as I would have liked. This funnel cloud below was taken looking east across I-35 just north of where U.S. 412 crosses the interstate.

As reported below, Norman, the home of the University of Oklahoma, was struck by an F-2 intensity tornado shortly after 4pm. The National Weather Service's preliminary path map is below. It passed just north of the campus.

Here is the Norman tornado on video:

Addition: 12:34am Saturday: Another video, this one clearer, of the Norman tornado. Driver becomes trapped by falling power lines and snapping poles. Tornado nearly invisible.
