Yesterday's Spectacular Storm Chase in Southwest Kansas

Here are two of the many photographs we took yesterday. The first is of two downbursts. I have highlighted the wind flow as the soil exploded when the downbursts hit.

The second was at sunset. Add in the frequent lightning (not shown) and it was a spectacular Kansas evening. Note: Other than adding arrows, I have not photoshopped or modified the images in any way.
