Southeast Update

The preliminary data (note this is preliminary) for the Southeast indicates a major winter storm is even more likely than my earlier posting (below) indicates. Very heavy snow is possible from north Georgia into South Carolina. A major ice storm is likely a bit farther south including, perhaps, Atlanta and Athens.

If you live in these areas, don't just worry about bread and milk, please review these preparatory measures.

This storm may still move up the Atlantic coast. More on the blog tomorrow.
