Winter Weather Flying

I'm watching a live newscast at the moment talking about the thousands and thousands of people stranded due to airline problems. It is going to take days for the airlines to catch up. So, for the rest of the winter, please follow these three steps.

  1. Check with AccuWeather to see if adverse weather is expected in your home city, the hub where you are changing flights, and your destination. If there is any sign of bad weather, go to step 2.
  2. Here is a full list of how to handle the situation pre-flight
  3. If you have a list-minute cancellation or you are cancelled mid-trip, go to this step
Trust me, these steps will make the chances of a problem much lower and it will make the problem less painful if one occurs.
