Tornado Warning Mobile Bay

Two tornado warnings are out, including one for Mobile Bay (bright red). The dark red = a major flash flood threat.  Yellow = tornado watch.

This is the type of situation for "squall line" tornadoes and these can be very difficult to spot. The bend or "wave" in the line of thunderstorms is the most likely area for a tornado.

UPDATE 4:20pm.: The red dots are tornado reports and the blue dots are reports of wind damage. They correlate to the movement of the "wave" (above). This is a type of storm that we might have had trouble effectively warning of 20 years ago. Now, it is routine. Storm warnings get better and better.
