Yawn....

To get a little humor in before the serious weather gets going today, here is the ultimate "dog bites man story."

I laughed out loud at the name, The Consensus Project. As you would expect, the 97% claim isn't even true. There is generally an inverse correlation better the scientific content and the "catchiness" of the logo and artwork.

I wish I had artistic talent because I'd like to change Bart's writing to:
One more time...science is not about consensus.
One more time...science is not about consensus.
One more time...science is not about consensus. 

Regardless of the truth of the claim, any real scientist should be ashamed of pushing "consensus" as "science." Science is about what can be proven and reproduced. Period.
