More Heavy Rains Forecast - CORRECTION
For the next seven days, rainfall amounts are forecast to be heavy in Oklahoma and southern Kansas.
Below is the five-day rainfall amount forecast:
For Wichita, I am expecting between 2.5 and 5 inches during during the next seven days (ending at 7pm, Friday, June 13).
As mentioned earlier this week, these additional rains will be sufficient to end the drought in a few areas. Fortunately, the 2014 corn crop is just about all planted. The rains will delay the 2014 winter wheat harvest.
