Update on Southern Plains Winter Storm

As much as ten inches of snow is already on the ground in parts of Oklahoma. Here is the AccuWeather Regional Radar at 11am. Heavy snow is falling in parts of the Oklahoma City area right now.

Oklahoma road conditions are here. Texas road conditions are here. There will be icy weather in the Metroplex shortly.

Winter storm warnings are in pink. More will be issued farther east later in the afternoon.
There is a pretty good chance of ice storm conditions from parts of the Tennessee River Valley into the parts of the Appalachians. Here is a first look at where the heaviest precipitation is expected between now and 6pm Tuesday. This storm will disrupt early Thanksgiving travel.
