Risk of Very Large Hail in Texas
In addition to thunderstorm-generated wind gusts of 58 mph (50 kt.) or more, there is a good chance of large hail of 1" in diameter or large. The yellow is the 15% probability of one or more occurrences of large hail within 25 mi. of any given point. Red is 30%. The hatched area is where hail larger than two inches is possible.
