After watching one of the network's non-coverage of the major storm looming for the Northeast and noticing that some of the social media outlets that normally cover storms are strangely silent:

I believe part of the problem is that there is no blizzard warning. If you read this forecast for the southern part of upstate New York,

Gusts to 40 mph? Heavy snow? That is the very definition of a blizzard.
This storm will bring:
- Power failures, in some cases for days.
- Blocked roads due to snow and downed trees.
- Coastal flooding.
