This Week's Rainfall Forecast

Let's begin with California where
While I not as heavy as I first thought the rain (with snow in the Sierra) will be beneficial.

In Texas and the Southeast, most of the rain will be beneficial as much this area -- especially Louisiana -- are suffering from moderate to severe drought.

In the Intermountain Region plus the central and southern Great Plains, needed rain is forecast to fall but amounts will be light.
No serious tornado nor severe thunderstorm threat exists this week.

Later in the week, I'll present an outlook for Thanksgiving travel.

FYI: Here is last week's rainfall in the West.
