More on the Heavy Rain Headed for California and Oregon [Updated 4:52pm]

Here is the forecast for precipitation the next three days ending at 4pm Saturday. 

And, here is the total for the next seven days.

As mentioned yesterday, this weather pattern seems more likely to produce heavy precipitation in the northern two-thirds of the State. Therefore, the Sierra will get clobbered. The European model is forecasting as many as 80 inches of snow.
