Tornado and Damaging Winds
There is a significant risk of tornadoes in the brown area.

There is an enhanced risk of wind gusts of 60 mph or stronger in the red area; there is a significant risk of those gusts in the yellow area.

Flash Flood Threat
In addition, there is a localized flash flood threat between now and 8am Friday.
The highest risk is in the red area.

The counties outlined in blue are in a severe thunderstorm watch for tornadoes, 1.5" hail and thunderstorm-generated wind gusts to 70 mph. Note that this extends into Massachusetts, Connecticut and the Lower Hudson Valley.
