12:15pm Update: Today's Tornado -- And Giant Hail -- Risk

If you live in the central Great Plains, today is a good day to keep up on the weather.
The red area is where tornadoes, giant hail and thunderstorm-generated wind gusts of 60 mph or stronger have a significant risk of occurring.

Giant Hail Risk
The red area has an enhanced risk of giant hail (two inches or larger). The yellow with hatching has a significant risk of giant hail and the yellow area without hatching is where hail of 1-2" in diameter is forecast to fall.

I will update on these hazards this afternoon.
