Flood Outlook - Updated 7pm Monday

Here is the National Weather Service's rainfall amount forecast for the next five days ending 6pm on Saturday. The darker amber area within the orange is a forecast of seven to ten inches of rain. 

Here is the amount of rain that has fallen during the last 48 hours ending at 6pm.

Here is how that rain should play out in terms of flooding for the next seven days. 
The dark blue area, which includes Dallas and the east part of the Metroplex is expected to experience "considerable" flooding. The light blue area is forecast to have "limited" flooding. The hatching means the flooding could come during days Day 1 through 7, which means through Monday of next week.

If you live in a flood-prone area, you may wish to make preliminary precautions for flooding.
