Spring Flooding

The Smith House had 1.64 inches of rain. That is a lot, but that isn't the big story. We've lived in this home for 18 years and we've never seen the yard as flooded, even after we had the 5+ inches in 24 hours last spring.  Our driveway is covered with worms (no kidding) trying to get to higher ground.

This is why I am worried about spring flooding. The ground - both top and subsoil - is completely saturated.

Given the snow cover still on the ground in the northern states, there is the potential for flooding in many areas.
