'Clean' Energy: Not So Fast!
As many of us have been cautioning for years: What happens when the wind farm or solar farm has outlived its usefulness? Rusting, broken towers cluttering the view.
While my comment was directed at wind energy, the same is true for solar. When you hear how "cheap" alternative power is, that doesn't include the cost of cleanup.
We are going to have 'clean' energy facilities littering the countrysides forever.

How about Mountain Top Removal Coal Mining? How about acid mine run off? How about coal ash piles getting away and ruining downstream private property? How about the huge numbers of abandoned Oil and Gas wells? How about Fracking Water Injection Wells causing earthquakes? & Blowing out through other abandoned wells?
ReplyDeleteMountain top is no longer done. The only people doing acid runoff is the EPA. Coal ash IS a problem. They fixed the earthquake problem.
