Needed Rains Forecasted for Winter Wheat Belt

This map forecasts precipitation amounts from 6pm this evening to 6pm Thursday the 17th.  While who gets rain or snow and exactly how much will be exactly where are still unknown, this is an indication of generous rains where they are badly needed.

Below is the Palmer Drought Index as of February 4.
The winter wheat belt really needs additional precipitation.
