Seven Day Rainfall Forecast

The slow moving low pressure system that brought the needed rains (below) to the drought region is expected to bring as much as seven additional inches to Louisiana.  The weather pattern is shifting to one of thunderstorms in the northern Plains this weekend and the first of the week.

Below is the observed rainfall for the past seven days. While more rain is needed in most areas, this is the first significant relief in months.
