What was suspected by many  has now been confirmed: FEMA ordered its people in Florida not  to call on, and offer relief to , homes with Trump signs in the wake of Hurricane Milton.  FEMA has confirmed this occurred. From the Daily Wire  (via Instapundit ): A federal disaster relief official ordered workers to bypass the homes of Donald Trump’s supporters as they surveyed damage caused by Hurricane Milton in Florida, according to internal correspondence obtained by The Daily Wire and confirmed by multiple federal employees. A FEMA supervisor told workers in a message to “avoid homes advertising Trump” as they canvassed Lake Placid, Florida to identify residents who could qualify for federal aid, internal messages viewed by The Daily Wire reveal. This blog has, on numerous occasions, discussed the corruption in climate science. Dr. Roger Pielke, Jr. has an insightful piece about how the corruption just keeps growing.  There is little science in global warming these days. 

The campaign to shake down people , government agencies and institutions for global warming dollars continues to spend giant sums.  The $2.4 billion is only the part that is spent on propaganda and marketing. This does not  include money spent on research, windmills, solar, etc., etc.  Why do they spend these monster sums? They aren't stupid -- they are savvy businesspeople. They make the investment because they want to force government and companies to spend even more than the trillions that have already been spent.  These organizations especially like global warming funding because it is rife with corruption (a topic for another essay) and intimidation . 

I rarely write political pieces on the blog. When I do they are usually about hypocrisy or corruption. One year ago I wrote this piece on corruption in the Democratic party relating to impeachment. Part of the reason for that piece is the media's often incorrect foci on Trump ("Russia, Russia, Russia" which was proven incorrect) and contrasted to almost the complete lack of the media examining the extensive corruption in the Biden family. This just changed.  Regarding the Biden family's corruption, the report released from Congress Wednesday is devastating . Joe Biden's response has been to deny it. I thought this tweet sums Biden's dissembling well.  We, unfortunately, have two highly flawed candidates from which to choose in 2020.
