World Soccer Comes to KC

When I was a kid in the 1960's, the great Pele came to Kansas City (where I grew up) in the first of innumerable attempts to get Americans to adopt soccer. Arrowhead Stadium This is important weather forecast information! While not as cold has last year's playoff game against the Dolphins, which resulted in several fans losing a finger or toe due to frostbite, it will still be very cold during this Saturday afternoon's game.  At game time (3:30pm) the temperature will be in the 19-22°F range with the wind chill of about 5°. Temperatures will fall during the game. By 7pm, the temperature will be down to about 15° with a wind chill down around zero. No significant precipitation is expected. The cold front that will come through the KC area Saturday will usher in the coldest weather of the winter, so far.  If you will be in town Sunday, the noon temperature will be around 10° with a wind chill of around -5°F.
