Hurricane Barry Forecast to Develop

The National Hurricane Center just released its first forecast on the developing system in the Gulf and  it essentially agreed with me (see below). It is forecasting Hurricane Barry to form and move inland with winds of 85 mph or a little stronger. The storm is expected to cross the coast on Friday if it maintains it forecast track.

I recommend that people on the Louisiana coast and in Texas near Sabine Pass prepare for hurricane conditions. People as far west as Galveston should monitor closely.
