Wheat Belt Rainfall Update

A significant portion of the winter wheat belt received a nice soaking the last 24 hours.
Yes, that is a small area of 6-8" in the last 24 hours just east of St. John, Kansas, up to 7am this morning.

Courtesy of Dr. Ryan Maue, here is the forecast for the next 24 hour period ending at 7am Saturday.

Amounts are going to be highly variable as this forecast indicates.

Hope to have a full update on this subject on Sunday as the low pressure system causing all of the rain departs the region.
