There are trees down in the District of Columbia and throughout the region. These photos were sent to me from AccuWeather's Carla Johnson Calis who lives in the area . She reports the warnings were timely and accurate.
More details. It was a 4-year old boy in Maymont park. Maymont is a beautiful, wooded park located in central Richmond. How or why a 4-year old would be outside in a park in that weather yesterday, goodness only knows.
