Tornado and Train Safety

Tornado watch until 7pm:

There have been two instances of trains hitting automobiles at crossings in the KC area this afternoon. In one case, the train hit the back of the car (perhaps stuck on track) and, in the second, the auto was trying to go around the lowered crossing gates.

When roads are slick or snow-clogged, you don't have control of your vehicle. Trying to dodge a train at a crossing is even more foolish than usual. Please, respect the flashing lights and allow extra stopping time.
