Final Chase Forecast

I believe there are two areas of enhanced tornado risk and I am planning to chase in the northern area. The southern red area will likely see severe thunderstorms develop first. Temperatures have crossed the 80° threshold in northwest Oklahoma and the dry air continues to move in, so I'm reasonably confident (for October) in the chase forecast.

Radar at 12:50pm shows thunderstorms starting to develop in southwest Oklahoma. I wouldn't be surprised to see a tornado watch issued for that area soon.
