Southeast Flooding Potential

Over the last 30-days, rainfall have been normal to above average in many areas as indicated on the map below. This includes southeast Louisiana and the coast of the Florida Panhandle.

The latest NWS rainfall amount forecast -- especially given average or greater soil moisture -- would add up to flooding in the region. Do not specifically forecast on the geographic distribution. The heavier rains could slide east or west as the storm approaches the coast.
