Major Flood and Tornado Threat Update

More than ten inches of rain expected in the southern Ozarks with this storm over the next three days. I expect moderate to major flooding to result.  If you live near a stream or river or in a flood-prone area, please consider making plans now

There is a moderate risk of tornadoes, large hail and damaging thunderstorm winds for the DFW, Austin and San Antonio areas today and tonight with a slight risk farther north.

I urge you to keep up on the weather if you live in these areas today.

ADDED: AccuWeather regional radar at 8:45am CDT. This rain will be quite beneficial for the winter wheat in Kansas and in the southern High Plains.
