Earthquake in the East

A 5.8 magnitude earthquake, centered in Virginia, southwest of Washington, D.C., occurred at 2:04pm EDT.

The quake was strongly felt in D.C. and as far away as central Pennsylvania.

VIA www.facebook.com/accuweather , the quake was felt as far away as Massachusetts.

  1. Had a good rattling here in Cleveland OH. I have never been in a quake before but I could tell right away what it was. I was surprised it was so far away. Big ones must be pretty unsettling (no pun intended)
