Peak Fossil Fuels May Have Already Passed

Dr. Roger Pielke, Jr., in his most recent newsletter (which I recommend), presents evidence that we are at or have just passed the world's peak use of fossil fuels and, thereby, reaching peak CO2 emissions.

One of the most interesting points is that, per BP's annual outlook for the past two years, even if we do nothing else CO2 levels will begin falling.
Of course, we should -- for many reasons, not only global warming -- continue to decarbonize energy. That should be done via hydro and nuclear.

But, global warming is not a crisis. Things are moving in the right direction.
