Changing Weather Pattern = Flood Threats

The recent weather pattern which has brought cold, wet weather to the East and dry, warm weather to the West is changing. Surprisingly, it is going to bring extremely heavy rains to the West the next seven days and heavy rains to the central U.S.
If you happen to live in a flood-prone area where these heavy rains are forecast, you may wish to begin preliminary preparations.

  1. I'm waiting for the alarmists to say climate change has affected this year's El Nino. Pac NW has been extremely wet (Seattle has had their 'wettest' rain season on record) whereas SoCal hasn't fared too well. Opposite of expected for a strong El Nino event I believe.
