Beyond Silly: Fire All the Meteorologists
Apparently, when New York-based writers can't think of anything else to write, they decide to write a piece trashing meteorologists.
Can whoever is running this country please take a page from the Great Communicator’s book and fire all the nation’s meteorologists? These guys and gals need to get shipped back to the minors.
Some eloquent meteorologists decided to write a defense of our profession. You can read a comparison between the results of meteorologists and, say, sports here.
Dr. Marshall Shephard and Dr. Chuck Doswell wrote an overall defense, here.
