Heads Up, Kansas - Oklahoma and Bordering States

Because of the release of the National Climate Assessment earlier today, I have been focusing on global warming on the blog today.

That said, I want to remind everyone of the threat of severe thunderstorms and tornadoes in the central U.S. tomorrow and Thursday. Forecaster Evie (with her portable Doppler radar ready) and I will provide special forecasts tomorrow and Thursday morning.

P.S. Just got a question about why Forecaster Evie is in her jammies. It is because there will likely be severe weather after dark at least tomorrow night, so she is ready. Unlike her grandfather who had to sleep on the office floor in a suit during severe weather outbreaks.
