Finally! Surface Temperature Data Set We Should Be Able to Trust

I have previously written about the project underway at Berkeley to create an entirely new database of world temperatures.

We do not know whether it is going to yield warming, cooling, or steady temperatures...they are not that far along. But, the people engaged in the project seem to sincerely wish to get the correct result rather than a result that advances a political agenda.
