I know we have a number of readers in the St. Louis area. By coincidence, Kathleen and I dined at the new Cinder House restaurant last night. They had a soft opening last week and tonight is its grand opening.
Kathleen liked her entree, Ozark Trout (the taste I had was quite good). There was nothing special about the $64 (!!) eight-ounce filet is a small piece of meat on a plate. No side. I did like the black bean side which was $9. The menu is surprisingly limited and everything is dreadfully overpriced.
My verdict: Pass.
