Tornado Season To Begin in the Center of Tornado Alley

It has been an exceptionally light year, so far, in terms of tornadoes in the center of Tornado Alley. That is going to change this upcoming week and I want give everyone this "heads up."

A strong low coming out of the Southwest tomorrow will arrive over the High Plains Tuesday and it will trigger strong thunderstorms along and ahead of its path.
I've outlined the area where tornadoes and severe thunderstorms with large hail and damaging thunderstorm winds are most likely to occur Tuesday and Tuesday night.

More severe thunderstorms may occur in the Great Plains and Midwest Wednesday through Friday.

In the meantime, as the low tracks out of the Southwest.
