Another Day of Severe Thunderstorms
While the area of tornado threat is small (the brown area, below),
there will be large areas of damaging thunderstorm winds. Yesterday, the Twin Cities were hard hit with more than 130,000 homes and businesses without power. That number is still 70,000 this morning according to the Star-Tribune.
Here is the forecast of the damaging wind area.
The hatched area is where wind gusts with thunderstorms are forecast to exceed 75 mph.
