Reminder: Commemoration of the 25th Anniversary of the Andover Tornado

While appropriately somber for the occasion, this is going to be a very special event. If you lived in south central Kansas on that day, or are interested in tornadoes, I urge you to attend.

The event will be hosted by Butler County Emergency Management, the City of Andover, and St. Vincent de Paul Catholic Church where it will held.  The doors will open at 4pm on April 26. The program will begin at 5:55 and will be over promptly at 7pm. However, there will be breakout tables with storm memorabilia that will be available through the evening as long as there is interest.

I am one of the speakers. I will also have a breakout table. Because of the nature of the event, I will be selling copies of Warnings for the one-time cost of $10 (including tax) and, of course, autographs are free. If you already have a copy and would like it autographed, feel free to bring it.

St. Vincent de Paul Catholic Church in Andover is located on Andover Road about one mile north of U.S. Highway 54/400.
