Ozarks to Ohio River: Tornado Weather

The 5% area has a significant chance of tornadoes today according to the NWS Storm Prediction Center. It reaches from the Ozarks to the lower Ohio Valley. If you live in these areas, keep an eye on the weather at the first sign of thunderstorms in your area. Make sure your children and anyone else under your care can get to shelter quickly.

There is a larger area at risk of large hail and damaging winds. Fifteen percent is the significant threshold. If you live in these areas, I recommend putting the car in the garage and bringing in trampolines and anything else that might be blown about.
I'll have at least one update in the mid- to late afternoon.
