Ice Storm Danger + Heavy Snow Danger
While the above map should be considered tentative. The areas in blue have the potential for power failures. In Arkansas, I would be making preparations for a loss of power.
Go to the ATM and get any extra cash.
Fill the car with fuel.
Refill any essential medicine prescriptions
Plan on hunkering down rather than driving once roads become slick.
This, too, should be considered preliminary but the forecast is for as much as 8-11 inches in the light blue area with as much as 14" over the mountains. Given that snow removal can be spotty in some of these areas, travel will likely become difficult. If you live in one of the blue shaded areas, please look over the above bulleted areas and realize they may be applicable to you.
