Weekend Winter Storm Update

Icing

Below is the probability of at least 0.01 inches of freezing rain (glaze ice) from 6pm this evening to 6pm Friday evening.
This amount of ice is enough to make roads slippery.

Below is the probability of 0.10 inches or more for the same period of time. Travel will be extremely hazardous in these areas if this forecast is correct.

Weekend Snow

Here is the probability of 2 inches or more of accumulating snow from 6am Friday to 6am Sunday.

Saturday Night and Sunday

AccuWeather has details on the storm later in the weekend.

It is still about 12 hours too soon to forecast exact accumulations of snow. I am posting this information so travelers can make plans to either get out ahead of the storm or mitigate its effects.
