Lightning in the Eye of a Hurricane
Lightning is infrequent in hurricanes so this is an extraordinary photo from the International Space Station. Lightning flashing in the eye of the hurricane.
As you look down, you can see the lightning flash at the 10 o'clock position, the lightning's light illuminates the rest of the eye and the water can be seen with the bluish tint. Jason Samenow has details.
