Storm 2 Central Plains Update, 9:30pm

Since the storm is going to begin in the Central Plains, I thought I'd do an update for the region. Not much as changed since the last update. The maximum amount forecast on the map is 12 inches (click to enlarge). Please do not take these as exact amounts, plus or minus two inches seems about right.

I believe Wichita will get between 5 and 10 inches and Kansas City about the same.

I do not believe any significant snow will fall in the area shown on this map before 2pm Monday. The snow will become heavy during the night Monday and during the day Tuesday before tapering off Tuesday night.

If you have a flight planned during this period, click here for suggestions that really do work.
